Making mistakes is one thing all humans have in common. Thinking twice may make people feel like they are thinking too much and do not want to do so, so we skip that whole process. We are not perfect and we tend to get sucked in by what is around us and we fail to think twice about things that really deserve a second thought. When I have done something wrong in my life, mostly it was because I was not thinking or my head just wasn’t in the right place at the time and there are can so many things going on in our lives and it can affect the way we do things and also can decide at times to what we do. When I face the consequences of an action that I have done, it makes me think why I did not take the time and think of what the consequences may be. I feel like if you are thinking about doing something and you kind of hesitate to do it then it must be something you are not sure of and when you aren’t sure of something, it usually means just to not do it. It’s like I feel I could have done better and the more I think about it, the more it betters me and helps me to remind myself to think twice about things like that. Like I said, everyone including me make mistakes in life that they regret doing and feel so naïve about it that they think that they pretty much cruised by the thinking process and just took action. It gets me thinking about the people in jail and I it just gets me thinking how bad they must feel that if they just took the time to think twice, they may not be where they are today and I think that society treats people like they should not be doing mistakes and are in a state of mind where they think that people are perfect. Francisco is a guy who really is full of life and was just a regular kid that got taken in by reality and did what he had felt he should have done or at least committed the action without any thought because of the influence he had around him and pressure that could have been building up from his peers. He puts his heart into his essays and shows what he really is about and when I think about it, it makes me realize that he pretty much is like any other kid in this world. I feel like him writing the essays is cleansing is state of mind and his soul and is trying to better himself with everything. Getting out all of your feelings can really help one out and that is what he is doing in the novel and that is why I feel that he is becoming a better person.

I feel when you are nervous about someone that you really like that you really want to talk to but are too scared to jump into things that people try out the easiest way to contact that person and that is what the maid has done. There are plenty of ways to go about this situation but I do think it was not a real bad idea because it doesn’t hurt to write to someone you are fond of but when someone gets in the way like Marji’s father, everything just goes wrong. Having Marji talk to the guy could have helped in a way because she could have told him about the girl and maybe he would have understood instead of having found out from Marji’s dad and that may have been a surprise to the guy and that might have made him feel negative emotions or it could have been because of him worrying about his image and people there worry about their social class and the way society feels about them. There are plenty of people I interact with that you may think I would never talk to. People have looked at me a different way because of the person I was with and the thing I do not get is that, that person I am with is a human being as well as everyone else. It’s like the presentation I saw about the genocide and how every single skull looked exactly the same and people do not realize that we are all the same but just have different stories because we are all unique in our own and that is what makes us human beings. The thing to do is to just ignore those people because I know that they must think that they are better than you but really they are not. They might have a successful life and everything but every one of us has that opportunity and always will if you really think about it.
