Michelle Serrano

My name is Michelle I was born and raised in Chicago. I was raised on the south side with my mother all my life. My major in Columbia is music and dance because I like to write songs to express how I feel about something. And I enjoy listening to music like Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, and House music. My other major that I would like to do is dancing because dancing has been part of my life since I was little I always loved to dance. Also I like to learn different cultures of dancing my favorite dance I like to do is Hip Hop, because I feel that Hip Hop is a passion that is one of my favorite interests. At Columbia I decide to pursue independence in myself and be responsible, and study hard for tests and exams, and do my homework on time and participate in my classes and meet new people and share my talents with theirs. Also become a young adult and learn new experiences at Columbia and I want to get good grades and practice my talents here.
