Bashkim Response

In the book Persepolis Marjane in my opinion faces a destruction in her country. And I notice that she always wants to prove to herself and her parents that she is rebellious and not afraid to take risk and stand up for her country. And I think that she wants to grow up already and she had a mind to herself when she is alone. She sometimes has plans or thinks about the war and how it affects her country. She is another person when she has her rebellious side. And she sometimes has her emotional side when she is going through something it's like she goes back to being herself. It like she wants to be rebellious and being herself but at different situations. The time in my life when I had to do something better than someone else was when I was at High School I was in basketball and our team had to work harder like go jogging everyday and focus on the games. I had to practice harder and their was a girl who is good at basketball and our coach wanted us to show her our practices and routines. She was really good at it and one day we had a game I wasn't doing my best as I would. My coach told me after the game to work harder and focus I told her I was having a bad day. So she told me to work hard so I told myself I have to work harder than the new girl who just joined our team. I wasn't jealous I just wanted to prove to myself that I can do better I made it positive by asking my coach to help me with my practices and routines. And I starting being cool with the girl we became close friends. And she helped me to and I did better in my games. So I didn't take it at a negative way I just asked for help without a attitude. And the whole situation was that I wanted to do better I just wanted to step it up with my team. And ever since then Kept everything positive.
